My dear friend commissioned me to create a painting that would represent her time spent on Vancouver Island with her boyfriend. I instantly remembered seeing a photo of the two of them watching a sunset and suggested I paint that image. She was thrilled and sent me a few source images to work with. I’m so pleased with this painting
